About Me

DBI is a mixed format comedy troupe. We do improv comedy, both Long Form and Short Form GameProv. We mix and match. We may even start doing sketch work soon. We have guest performers, both comedic and musical, sometimes both. We've gone to two festivals recently. We teach workshops, currently for a local high school and a county teen arts festival. We eat pizza and subs.

Death By Improv performs one Friday a month, at Garden Friends, home of Main St. Theater Company, 3018 Bordentown Ave, Parlin, NJ
All shows are $5.00 for two hours of entertainment.

* February 27 - student showcase of SWMHS Improv Club students and Musical guest TBD
* March 27 - student showcase of SWMHS Improv Club students and additional guest TBD
* April 10 - guests TBD
* May 22 - with guests: Calamity Menagerie, helping us to bring you Tom Devil's New Year: The Improv Show. Combining the story of the movie, the music of Calamity Menagerie, and the script of an improv show (there ain't one).
* June 26 - guests TBD

Death By Improv also performs FREE bar shows every other Thursday at J. Oâ€™Neills Place, 17 Thomas St., Sayreville, NJ
Bar shows are where we try out new formats and possibly some sketches starting soon.
