Many ask, what does C.P.G stand for? Well to set the record straight, C.P.G. stands for Colonial Park "G's". Da "G" can be defined as "Gangsters" depending on the vibe and situation. Being that they are from the streets and their every day lives are un-doubty real, at end of the night they are all "Gangtas".
Being that Colonial Park is where they all vibe and the place they all call Home, they're known as CPG's! It's a Family vibe first, but from that "Family" , a couple of talented artist who have all individually been pursuing rap careers, hooked up and decided to come together as a "Unit". That's how C.P.G. the rap group was formed. This Group consist of artist : Skyy High, Tech, Pookie', Buck, Sha'wa, Taz and LyriK.
C.P.G. "Clicked up Vol.1" was the first mix tape put on the streets in 2005. On that album Skyy High, Tech, Nutti and Black Jack were together for the first time. The click was small when it came to artist. But less than a year later, after realizing there was variety of talent within the crew, they dropped the mixtape "C.P.G. clicked up Vol. 2". That mixtape was dropped April 1, 2006 and sold over 1000 units in its first week in our local neighbors. From that point on they knew they're dreams were becoming "REAL". And its been a long time coming.
Since then, C.P.G. had performed basically everywhere in every club from Florida City to Orlando, Florida. They are well known for there Outstanding shows, togetherness, and their grind.
