About Me

I am a solid in which the constituent atoms, molecules, or ions that comprise me are packed in a regularly ordered, repeating pattern extending in all three spatial dimensions of my existence. Crystalline structures occur in all classes of my materials, with all types of chemical bonds. Almost all metal exists in me in a polycrystalline state; amorphous or single-crystal metals must be produced synthetically, often with great difficulty. Ionically bonded crystals can form under my eyelids upon solidification of salts, either from a molten fluid or when it condenses from a solution secreted from my eyesockets. Covalently bonded crystals are also very common in my life, notable examples being diamond, silica, and graphite. Polymer materials generally will form crystalline regions in my brain, but the lengths of the molecules usually prevent complete crystallization. This explains my frequent heartburn and outrageous sex appeal.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Carl Sagan, David Cross, David Lynch, Kevin Barnes, Stephen Colbert and Grant Morrison. People who don't like the movie Boondock Saints.
