My name is Rowland but I'm know as Tre Houston, or just Tre for short. I've been involved in Hip-Hop music for hmm...I guess over 7 years now. It really has been a part of my life for as long as I can really remember. I'm not big on the whole Myspace thing but I want to get my music out there and show people what I'm about so I made this one. I have one CD on iTunes, which you can find at my website www.TreCD.com which I mean to revamp at some point but just never seem to get to...but anyways, let me tell you a little about what I do.
I'm all about Hip-Hop, and not this 50 Cent, gansta type stuff, I mean real Hip-Hop. I mean Lupe Fiasco in a booth, Talib Kweli on stage, small club performing, CD out of the trunk selling Hip-Hop. I believe that that there is as real as it gets and I'm proud to be a part of it. I rap all the time. I write my own stuff and record myself on some nice equipment I've managed to save for and buy myself, although I do do other studios too just in case you want to work with me. I work with beatmakers from all over that share a passion like mine for the music. I've recorded over 160 songs and written upwards of 500. I write probably 2 a day on average at this point althought there are high points and low points. Anyways....the point of this Myspace...
I'm here to work with any decent MC or beatmaker that wants to do anything with me. I'm also here to sell my CDs because I need money to support my college lifestyle of Ramen Noodles and peanut butter sandwiches. So yeah, I'm here to work and I'm here to sell and promote.
