The streets of South Central Los Angeles are responsible for grooming the phenomenon known as Javá. His controversial style is reminiscent of some of hip hop’s most influential pioneers. Most describe his genre as "gangsta rap" but can’t fully encapsulate his music’s style because of his prolific descriptions of life in the ills of the ghetto and the hardships that come along with it. His music displays a political awareness that has been missed among those who have followed the history of hip hop’s plight. Javá has worked with a list of accomplished recording artist including Big Syke of Thug Life and The Outlawz and Shock G of Digital Underground. Javá has performed on many stages throughout California and has released a number of mixtapes selling throughout the country.
After the 2007 release of his first album, “Money To Be Made”, the streets are raving about the westcoast phenom. Javá is currently finishing up his new album, “A Moment of Silence” and is getting ready to release his new mixtape entitled, “2 Real 2 Stay Still” Vol. 1. This young, ambitiously independent artist, also C.E.O. of Copperworth Entertainment, is going to take the industry by storm in 2008.
