Last Song Recording

About Me

Last Song Recording began in Trabuco Canyon, CA back in 2004 as I interned under Jim Moreland of Live Oak Recording. Jim grew up around music as his father worked with the Beatles, David Bowie, and many others; and for the past 20 years he has been an active session drummer, worked for Sony and Relativity Records, as well as at various recording studios around Hollywood. Hours were spent tuning drums, trying different mic combinations, picking up how to move sessions along, and learning to think steps ahead when using eq and compression. My goal is to provide the service of capturing original, creatively inspired music wherever it is happening(I'm also into Judas Priest, and Black Flag covers). The list of friends I have here are all bands I've worked, if you want to be added to the illustrious list lets set something up. Studio or mobile, hi-fi or lo-fi, digital or analog, quiet or loud; drop a line if you are passing through the area and want a high quality live recording or to set up some studio time.
