A fifth grader finds his rhythm on a snare drum. One finds his voice singing with his parents to classic rock. A mix tape changes a young boy’s life as Axl Rose influences another. From outer space a natural born musician emerges and even though none of us had a clue, it’s were it all began. We are more like a family than a band! The fusion of 5 Elements has created an explosion of musical energy; it is an expression of our homegrown roots. It started out as fun; freestyle jam sessions and evolved into conscious song writing. Things were rough at first, early recordings were described as a “bad Bob Dylan recordâ€. It still makes us laugh, but we are growing with every practice and every show. Nothing could be possible without the love and support from our family and friends. 5 Elements try to enjoy the fine things in life like good beer, herb, food, the company of nice ladies; little things that we appreciate, like Gee’s “bowl of cheese†in Myrtle Beach. Life is good, still having fun, much respect to our boy’s at Underdog for all of their help and all the good times. Chillin Irie
