DUMBFOUNDED

About Me

...And they knew not of these sounds
That danced and pirouetted
Greeting them here at the precipice
Melodic collisions aided and abetted,
By the sonic concoctions of one and of all
So they took the leap of faith, fearing no fall
As all the while they shall never be grounded,
For lifting them higher,
The wonder and awe,
Dumbfounded

Southampton's majestic barons of theatrical Art punk, these charming young souls give quite the heave-ho... suck 'em and see!
... be safe, be safe...

"I feared for Dumbfounded, one of the support acts, due to their matching shirts and ties and their very charasmatic come campish frontman and scene guitarist, but the Punks seemingly got into them, which was cool as they're a good band." (Gorehound)
"Glam punk has never sounded so good!" (SouthScene)
"Finally, Southampton has found a band to be proud of!" (The Wessex Scene)
"...their musical prowess is far more impressive than their banner-hanging skills." (the mag)
"We're pretty good." (Dumbfounded)
"yes £13.97 is a bargain for a whole outfit!" (Linzi, who saw us in Feb 2007)
"Mixing an 80's retro vibe with modern indie and splashes of shredding punk, some fancy footwork and sincere vocals altogether providing a great performance." (Mimic Promotions)
8 out of 10 (the mag)
......we came, we saw, we played conkers
goodbye and thank-you, twas a hoot

The Bristol Gig

Can't remember when it was now, but twas a roaring success in terms of performance... we were on fire, so much so that our drinks boiled and evaporated completely during our set. At this point I would...

Oxford Gig

Gig in Oxford on 29th April went very well. Good times were had, music was played and alcohol was consumed. Call the dean.... somebody call the dean!
