I've been in the UK music industry for over 20 years. Played with various bands (mostly rock/indie). Engineered and produced CDs for bands & singers (both young and old), and written more tunes than I care to imagine.
I'm now looking to help the profile of all the unsigned bands out there. To get anywhere in the music world, you need reviews of your material. Promotion packs for record companies look much better when someone unconnected with the band gives a review (good or bad). This is where I come in. You can send me a full CD or EP and I'll send you a review for your pack and post it on my blog.
I'm interested in hearing Rock, Dance, Dub, Breakbeat, Indie, Soul, RnB, anything. I have no limitations, and neither should you.
That's it. No catch. No money is involved. All I ask is that you have something finished that you do (or will) sell at gigs. EPs or full albums are fine, I don't want demos or single tracks (if you can't write more than a couple of songs, you ain't gonna get far), and I don't want you to listen to the songs on your web page (no matter how good they are). The reason is that I believe the artwork and packaging for the CD/EP is a good eye-catcher and may give an indication of the band before listening to the songs.
I also find that the 'non-single' songs are sometimes the undiscovered gems of a recording session.
