Hi, my name's Andrew. I play the saxophone as most of you know, and I have many nicknames, but for the most part, I'm just a person lost in the unbounded world of jazz, trying to create something wonderful from the dissonance of the world.I hope you enjoy my songs, and I look forward to your feedback.
Biography:
Andrew Guevara is 21 years old. He has been playing the saxophone since the fourth grade and, since then, fell in love with music. Throughout his musical career, Andrew has had many wonderful and not so wonderful Moments of life which inspire every aspect of his musical expressions. Andy once said, “Music has become an obsession of mine, endowing upon me a myriad of memorable experiences which allowed me to meet many wonderful people I may never have met otherwise.” Among those who have profoundly influenced Andy's journey is jazz saxophonist Rodney Taylor, who became a mentor to Andy in lessons of both life and music. In addition, Andy has learned a great deal from the many other musicians he has met along the way and other personal friendships. Andy's training in music is still very much incomplete. still at the beginning of his musical career, Andy still intends on taking a music theory class and plans on always being a student of music regardless of his actual college major. He recently graduated from the University of California, Riverside, as an English major. However, he still practices regularly, and he is currently taking a jazz class at Crafton Hills College and plans to pursue graduate school.
