In early 2009, Mike Crist (2nd Guitarist), had a vision to create a band that not only held the best musicians he could possibly attract, but also posses the chemistry and writing skills that could send a message to the masses that would shock them into realizing just how far we have lost touch with reality. Not only is the message real, it's playing a serious role in our daily lives. Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, & Pride all seem to be the accepted norm. The point of the bands message, is to smack the listening audience in the face with the power of a 25 Ton wrecking ball and awaken them into a new reality. The world as we know it, cannot sustain this behavior any longer. Comprised of two blistering guitarist (Mark Otto and Mikee Crist ), who lay a trail of electro magnetic energy so thick it could light the whole state of Nevada. The raw power of these guitars, somehow find away to keep you on edge throughout the Record. Leading the message and lyrical attack, is the insanely powerful voice behind the band (Water) who has been relentlessly studying and writing about these prophecies since he was a child. Only recently, have these lyrics made sense to anyone. A little ahead of his time some would say. Decoding the rhythm section is a power core clock, consisting of (Derek Grierson, Bass 2nd Voice and L.Dolan, Drums Sequencing). Together, these two carry the foundation of the band to a level of science in conviction. Although the name A Pig Named Jodi has no articulate connection to the bands message, it does make an interesting visual on any marque.
