About Me

Well, Im 41 this year and Im still on the run, I was diagnosed with APS/ Lupus Anti coagulant last year and assumes a pill would take me back to the way life was. I had no idea I was going to have to fight for my life. After surgery to install a IVC filter in hopes to help save my life, just to find out I was still clotting on the lungs, was a devastating blow. I'm now spending, my good days building a web pages and making dates to talk about this disease to help others. APS is not common in men as it is in women, so its easy to be missed in men. If I had been diagnosed sooner I still believe I would have a much better chance at life than I do today, but due to many misdiagnosis I have come to a stage in life where I have to make each day count. I have dedicated this site and my blogs to each day of my life, and I invite you to support me through being a friend, and reading along with the blogs. I will keep them updated each day, everything from my trip across Canada, to the events we have local to life with an illness. As you can see if you go back in the blogs, there is information from diagnoses to what to do for yourself or loved ones.Update: I have completed part of my cross Canada tour, as I have made from Ontario to Vancouver and back. Please take the time to see the photo's of the trip here in my photo's section. I will soon leave to complete the Eastern part of the tour, and then I will have finally completed the complete Cross Canada tour. We have finally become a registered incorporated charity in Ontario Canada, and have added a donation box to our web site. So please take the time to show your support by giving what you feel you can afford, it will go along way to research and helping others diagnosed with this illness. We want to show our appreciation to all though's that have added themselves to this site to show support. Thanks so much! Please visit regularly to see what's next and when our tour will continue so you know when I will be in your neck of the woods so we can meet up!Thanks for taking the time to show your support,James WeedmarkMy site is www.aweedmarkfoundation.comhttp://web.mac.com/aweedmarkfound ation/APS_Lupus_Anticoagulant.com/Welcome.html

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet ALL of you either all at once! or one at a time in person or on line. I already know who I will meet in the future so there is no point listing them. I would like to meet Evan Tanner as he has supported me through some rough spots by just being a straight up guy, answering mail, and talking from the hip, and sharing his believes! I think that is a solid! I would also like to meet all those that write me everyday on here, and throw general post, because your all heros in my eyes, and you all straight up people who I would say make this world a place worth living in, and a place I can say I will miss...... I want to meet who ever wants to meet me, I want to meet those who feel forgotten, who feel lost, who feel as if they just need to get something off of their chest in order to move forward, the people who just want to be heard, or want to hear the words ITS OK someone CARES ABOUT YOU!James Weedmark
