Welcome to Beenleigh Theatre Group's MySpace. ABOUT BTG Established in 1978, Beenleigh Theatre Group Inc. has brought hundreds of live productions to Beenleigh. Whilst we are an amateur group, it has always been our philosophy that as soon as we charge an entry fee, there is an obligation to give the public value for money. Therefore, we always strive for the highest possible standard in all our productions. Our memorable past reflects many popular musical productions, interspersed with plays, theatre restaurants, revues and pantomimes. We are proud of our young people, and encourage them to become involved in theatre. Over the years a number of BTG juniors have gone on to find their careers within the entertainment industry. BEENLEIGH THEATRE GROUP'S WEBSITE CURRENT PRODUCTION TWO WEEKS WITH THE QUEEN Colin Mudford is a typical 12 year old Aussie kid with a love for cricket and fighter planes. He is sick of being put behind his little brother Luke. For Christmas, Luke got a toy plane with the exact number and exact colour of the pilot's helmet he wanted! While Colin wanted a microscope and he got plain leather school shoes. Luke suddenly became seriously ill with cancer on that Christmas day. To try and protect Colin from the pain of his brother death, Colin's parents send him to live with his Aunty Iris and Uncle Bob in England. While there he attempts to seek an audience with the Queen of England to get the best doctor in the world to save his brother.
