The Beginning of C SQUEEZY AKA MR PARLIAMENT CITY !
The Beginning
On March 27th, 1987 the world was about to be turned upside down, as it was the day that C Squeezy came into it. C-Squeezy was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. Up unto the age of 12, C-Squeezy lived in Overbrook, and then moved to Hunt Club, where his life was beginning to change. At the young age of 12, he was faced with his first legal case. He was trying to fight his charges of Assault with a weapon, Assault to bodily harm, Uttering death threats and Possession of an illegal firearm. This was the beginning of C Squeezy. He proved then that he was a determined man, however he did not get off on all the charges; he beat all but one, and as a result he was locked up for 6 months and earned himself 18 months probation.
The Struggle
C Squeezy did not let this hold him back. He was now more determined then ever. With the support of his family and not many options C-Squeezy decided to turn to his passion for music, while he was locked up. He used his experience as a motivation to the beginning of his rap career. He utilized his time by writing lyrics to get things off of his mind. As he continued to write he and many others soon later realized that what had started out as a simple way to vent his frustrations, soon developed into a self discovery of natural born talent that was present all along. After he had finished serving his sentence, C Squeezy was on a new mission. After all of his hard work that he had put into his music while he was locked up, he was not about to let it be a waste of time. C Squeezy was ready to get serious about his music, and making his mark in the rap game, as one of the best rappers. When he was released from prison, he was recruited by Mr. PK, the CEO of Team Villan. This was only the beginning for him. Not long after he released his first mixtape which brought his hard work much deserved success. C Squeezy was not surprised “I tell these bitches I can spit they don’t hear me tho.” As a result, he continued to write and grow not only as a person but more importantly as an artist. This lead him to be featured on many other mixtapes, both locally and internationally. Soon after, C Squeezy realized his talent was much more then words on a pad of paper, he was a lyrical genius.
The Success
After many hours of hard work, and many ups and downs, he eventually was about to see it all pay off. C Squeezy was asked to sign to an extremely serious team, Lowertown Records. Today he is still currently signed to Lowertown Records, and with them behind him one hundred percent he is currently working on his mixtape!! C Squeezy continues to raise the stakes, for the other rappers. His lines are much more intense then most rappers; “Flow sounds like I’m laughing at you.” He isn’t afraid to step out of the box and this is one of the reasons for his continued success. He is not your typical average rapper, he is much more then that! He uses “Punch lines and metaphors,” and doesn’t hold back. “From Parliament City To City With The CN Tower.” In 2006 C Squeezy moved to Toronto, where he continues to work on his music. Although he currently lives in Toronto, he is an Ottawa Native, and hasn’t forgotten. He continues to show that he is much more then everyone else by using his background and experiences in his lyrics, as opposed to rapping about the same thing as everyone else. Despite all the continued success, C Squeezy has still had to overcome adversity. In 2005 he was beat up by the Ottawa Police. Luckily the assault was caught on tape, which has led to a lawsuit that is currently pending. C Squeezy has proven to rise against all odds. His hard work and determination continues to pay off. As an artist, he is truly a force to be reckoned with. C Squeezy has definitely proven to set himself apart from the rest of the rap game. He plans to take his originality and uniqueness and set his mark in the rap industry being known for his true capabilities and who he is as opposed to what the world wants him to be. “C Squeezy aka Mr. Parliament City!! 613 MixTape King!!”.
