I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I love:
my husband and our furry little cat kid, making and eating sugary sweets, sunshine, having coffee and conversation with good friends, dancing, walks on the beach, those occasional spurts of hope I get for the human race.

My Interests

Paulcholio, El Gato Spectaculor, la Famiglia Coseboom, MIDDYPAA, Harry Potter, Complaining, Chai, Vault, Red Bull, WNBA & NBA Basketball, Food, Grammar, and Pac Man.

I'd like to meet:

I don't want to meet anyone whom I don't already know. I'm a misanthrope.

Movies:

I watched "The Departed" yet again the other day. What a great movie.

Television:

Right now, it's all about basketball, basketball, basketball. I also love watching Jeremy Paxman rip people to shreds on "Newsnight." Oh, and "Top Chef."

Books:

I just read some books by Chuck Palahniuk. They are interesting, but they make me feel dumb. I feel like I need Helena Bonham Carter, Ed Norton, and Brad Pitt to act them out for me. I know they're nihilistically funny, but I just can't seem to grasp that on my own. Currently, I'm reading Old Path White Clouds for edification, and re-reading all of the Harry Potter books for fun.

Heroes:

Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghandi, Malcom X, Mother Theresa, His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
