I find most enjoyable is fellowshipping with my brothers and sisters in Christ at church. I value that time of friendship because God gave me these people to edify my walk.
I'd like to meet:
hmm..very tough question...but i'm grateful for the people I've met because thinking back in my life, I would have never imagined that I would meet different people from different countries and places. In Samoa, Okinawa, Philippines, Idaho, St. George, Ensenada, Watsonville, Los Alamitos, Whittier and others. The neat thing is that we are all under one body, one church, all brothers and sisters in Christ.
Music:
I love to worship. I play guitar, a little bit of piano, workin' on getting a more complex beat with the djimbe, and synchronizing my right foot with my hands on the drums. I love to sing. I think worship is the only music that I prefer to listen to because nothing can compare to God's presence."My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9
Movies:
oh tons, um.. to narrow down, you guys born in the 80's check out "Some Kind of Wonderful." That's a winner!! especially the very last line of the movie!! (hint..hint) for my future husband out there, that's the line you might want to memorize by heart, cuz it gets to me all the time!!
Television:
okay..I had to change it 'cuz I don't watch that much of Bill O'Reily anymore and anything on the news reminds me that my Christ is coming back for me...seriously, no more playin' with fire!! In a way, I'm excited, I can finally have complete peace in Him, but also in a way, I still want to stay so I can put the "pedal to the metal" and GO and make disciples of all men, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit... as He commanded all of us who have decided I want to be like Christ. At times I think it's a hard task 'cuz I don't want to give up what seems satisfying in the world.. but think about this to yourself.. what has the world done for you..?? And compare that to what Christ has done for you?? If you don't know what Christ has done for you.. borrow a Bible in the library and read John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave up His only begotten Son, that WHOMEVER believes in Him shall not die, but has eternal life." Hey, He gave up His life for you so that He can have you and call you children of God. Heirs of His Kingdom.. wow..!! hey..my citizenship is in Heaven, where's yours? Forget the junk.. walk right 'cuz "behold I stand at the door and knock" He's at the door and I bet He's knocked, He's turning the knob.. ARE YOU READY??
Books:
My favorite book of the Bible is: Philippians because it is personally speaking to me right now.
"being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6
"For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21
"Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ." Philippians 1:27
"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14
"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ." Philippinas 3:20
"Finally bretheren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
Heroes:
My ultimate hero is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, cuz Heroism started from Him. I think it was beyond heroism that He died for me 'cuz my sin cost so much. I think if God made different stages of hell, I'll be at the the extreme level. But thank the Lord He saved me from that. So, He gets all the credit for this title of hero. My sub-heroes are my parents because they feed me, provide for my every request, and also has yelled at me.. that in itself should qualify them immediately. My honor sub-hero is my brother. We're tight and I'd seriously be lost if somehow I can't support him.. hehehe.. j/k. yeah, brother's are pains but hey, he's got my back at all times. My distinguished sub-hero is my one and only sister. She's sweet and since she got married, I miss the times when we'd share our mess in the our room together. Now it's just my mess.. heheh.. what makes her a hero is that she's always looked after me. Okay, now my subline heros are: all my friends you guys know your own names so, I'll save space, but thanks guys!
