Andrey Bek (Andrei Bekshaev)
He liked music since school, when he used to watch VIVA and MTV music channels.
Later on he has organized a house-party together with his friends. In “Santana†Club he’s got acquainted with DJ General & Dr. Kisslove.
In 1999 he has found out that he prefers Jungle & Hardcore music.
He debuted in a town of Sovetskiy (25 km away from Vyborg) on the “Love House Party†event. Then he’s been DJing in “Boogie-Woogie†club in Sovetskiy & some other clubs in Vyborg known as Mr. Bum and wasn’t very popular that time.
In 2001 he was one of the organizers of “X-Farvater†(“X-Fairwayâ€) which was held in Sovetskiy again. During this event he’s got acquainted with DJ Boomer & DJ E-Zoom.
In 2002 together with Nistorovich Alexander he creates a “Wild Town†promo-group. He starts to play in “I was born by Drum’n’Bass†parties – together with well-known DJ’s from Saint-Petersburg. Together with DJ Sparker he publishes “I was born by Drum’n’Bass†collection (both on discs & cassettes).
In 2003 he takes part in the year’s best event in Vyborg, “Safari†club – along with DJ Boomer, , DJ Took, Nastya. In the same year he had his first performance in “MAMA†club in Saint-Petersburg. He has also played in Moscow with Groove & Dan.
2004: Usually plays in “Red Club†with DJ SS and in “Tunnel†club with J.Majic. He becomes known as Andrey Bek and joins Da Bass Sound System.
2005: Many events in Vyborg and Saint-Petersburg with Da Bass – as well as in other places: Norilsk (Mekhanika Birthday, in April); Helsinki, Finland (in July); Chita (sounds like [cheetah]) (Hollywood Nights, November), Ulan-Ude (January-2006). He plays on the same scene with Aphrodite, Twisted Individual, Fresh (BC) and other DJ’s.Best Drum’n’Bass DJ of Vyborg in a year of 2005-2006.
In January, 2006 a “Andrey Bek-4 years Wild town†CD was published.
Andrey Bek has also participated in Mednoe Ozero (Copper Lake) Open Air-2006, KaZantip-2006, X-Farvater-2006 and other global Open Air events.He brings such DJ’s as SS, Raiden, Drumsound.His closest plan at the moment is to publish a “5 Years Wild-Town†CD.www.bek.pdj.ru -new mix Andrey Bek wild town 5 years
