About Me

I'm a professional writer, game designer, husband, and father of three. I've written forty-something non-fiction books. Many of them are computer and video game strategy guides, including Diablo: Battlenet, Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, and Wizardry 8. Many more are general gaming books, such as The Parents Guide to PlayStation, The VideoGames Almanac, and XBox Fan.I also own Lock 'n Load Publishing (www.locknloadgame.com) and have designed/published three award-winning board-strategy games (Forgotten Heroes, ANZAC Attack, and Band of Heroes). In late 2006 I released my first novel, A Craving for Blood. It's a strange and interesting mix of military science fiction a la David Drake, mixed with Peter Hamilton (Night's Dawn Trilogy), and a dash of the macabre.
