The LOFT is an inclusive LGBT Community Center based in White Plains, NY, at the center of Westchester County. We are accessible from many of the major highways and just a half hour train ride up from Grand Central Station.This year marks our 25th Anniversary of queer advocacy, education and celebration. The LOFT works to further the cause for inclusion, diversity and pride through education, advocacy and celebration.The LOFT was officially born in October 1983 as a meeting place for gay and lesbian groups and organizations. Before then, there was simply a hotline providing information to our community. The organization has moved twice in the past five years to accommodate the growing needs of the community.
