DJ & Producer - HERBiCK
After he moved to the Baltic Sea in 1984 he gets his first dj based job in the
"Strandhouse" in a town called Grömitz near the Lensterbeach. There he works
about 2 years as the local resident DJ.
In 1986 he became resident DJ in in a small VIP-Club at the seafront of Grömitz.
From 1988-1989 he was the local resident DJ in the club "Nighttrain" in Grömitz
and after that he was djing in the club called "Make Up".
Finally in the year 1992 he decided to work in the dance club "Bambu" in
Neustadt Holstein. There he became the resident dj of the 2nd dancefloor.
There he finally could live his love out for Housemusic. Since then his collection
of vinyl records grows up to about 12.000 pieces. Almost 6.000 of them are just
house music genre vinyl records.
HERBiCK works about 6 years in the "Bambu". In that time he also takes a fancy
for techhouse, progressive and trance.
Nevertheless his passion for "pumping groovy house sound" never died. In his
time in the "Bambu" he arranged from 1994 on the biggest and best house-techno
-trance events all over north germany for about 8 years. They'll be never forget
in the history of the "Bambu". The guests came from all over germany and adjoining
countries to visit these events.
In the meantime he was the head of a booking agency with known bookable acts
like Gary D, Yves DeRuyter, DJ Fly, Marco Bailey, Pulsedriver, Space Frog,
Mega Lo Mania, Revil O, DJ Jo and more.
In 1997 he startet to produce music for his own. Since then he has released more
then 25 songs, 2 albums and 4 mix-compilations under a few different stagenames.
About 32 remixes he has produced for well known artists also.
His career as dj and producer is rewarded with miscellaneous top10 and top5 sales
charts positions, one nomination for an "Echo" and won the "Comet" award from
VIVA & ZDF television for best dance act.
HERBiCK hisself was also working from 1996 as a booking dj and has visited all
european coutrys as well as international countries for example Singapore,
Canada, Russia and the USA.
Since 2007 he enhanced his work for his dj and producer career under the name
"HERBiCK". Nowertime he enjoys his big passion for a broad range of music
genres like House, Electro-House and Trance-House.
