I was introduced to the world of uplifting music when I was in London back in 1996. A good friend was playing what he termed "Uplifting Techno Trance" (the days before trance was a genre). Having my ears opened, I fell in love.
It was a passion I put off persuing, partly through circumstance but mostly through fear. I had a burning desire to mix.
In 2004 I finally had the courage to give it a go. Now it is difficult to imagine life without jumping on the decks.
