About Me

Trey LeBlanc's aggressive and melodic style originated from a diverse history of experience. His interest in the guitar began at an early age, and he was largely self-taught, constructing a unique style influenced from Stevie Ray Vaughn and David Gilmore to Eddie Van Halen. Performing in several bands of various styles from Motown and R&B to Rock. Trey honed his skill through live shows, providing a charged and purposeful performance, thick with a driving guitar tone.Always a resourceful self-starter, Trey found several opportunities that helped him hone his craft. He was routinely requested for studio session work because of his innate skill for improvisation and distinct capability to lay down solid tracks in a tight time frame and wrote and performed a film score that was part of a submission package to a major television studio. Trey still found time to co-write with several artists and is currently recording his debut instrumental record, Aswell as use his talent to help others advance their skills by giving private instruction.

Influences: Where do i begin. Ill have to start with Stevie Ray Vaughn because he was what made me want to start playing guitar from the first time i heard him play. On top of Stevie theres a long list too numerous to name on this little page but heres a few to get an idea First and formost Pink Floyd, Brooks and Dunn, Andy Timmons, Brent Mason, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Randy Rhoads, Fernando Sor, Steve Lukather, Van Halen and the list goes on.........
Sounds Like: I think Bruce Lee said it best when he said "the best style is too have no style". I think what Bruce meant is that you should learn your craft. Whatever it is tailor yourself around your skill, not what you can do with it.
