I created this page to showcase the one of a kind faery dolls I make. Since I don't have my own site (yet) I figured this would be the next best thing. My dolls are completely hand sculpted in polymer clay without the use of any molds or aids. Sometimes they are created using wire armatures, and I use a wide variety of mixed media for costuming and detailing them. These dolls are all completely from my imagination! I draw inspiration from other artists such as the world famous Froud's, many other artists including Claire Ashley, Kim Fillio, and Kinuko Craft, but mainly from the largest sources of positive energy in my life- my family! Everyday I watch my children so full of energy, innocence, and beauty. They are so full of life and appreciation for the simplest things in the world, and I see in them the true beauty of nature. To me this is the essence of faery. Does that make any sense? :) Anyhow- I hope you enjoy the faeries, and please check me out on ebay! I sell my dolls there under the user name "elvengyrllindsey".
