Shorty Loka is of Human(e) Descent, born and raised in Mid-City Los Angeles. Before she was born, Shorty was already a revolutionary, demanding to be heard in her mother’s womb. Her mother knew she would be an atomic bomb- born to battle misogyny, sexism, patriarchy and the oppression of her people. Ms. Loka has been considered to be a feisty force of femininity, vocalizing her arguments and sentiments in each of her songs.
