Blasphemous Rumour Boys

The Blasphemous Rumour Boys is a dj collective focused on the preservation of a great era in music, the 1980's. New Wave, Electro, Hip Hop, Pop, Synth Pop, the sounds run the gamut. On any given night you can hear songs from atrists such as Duran Duran, Talk Talk, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Afrika Bambaata, Depeche Mode, New Edition, Eric B. & Rakim, Madonna, Beastie Boys, The Cure, Prince, Ready For the World, Human League, and the list goes on. While the Boys have put a chokehold on the 80's crowd, the BRB's have recently decided to expand their listening audience. The next obvious step was to incorporate sounds from the early 90's. Industrial, classic House and Breaks from 1995 and back can also be heard during any of the Boys sets. Currently the BRB's are the host of the only Retro weekly in the Oklahoma City area, "Before 1995&quot. "Before 1995" is a great night for those looking to get away from the younger TRL fad following crowd. Stop in and have a drink in a mature upscale environment while listening to great music from a great era. Somtimes it's good to reminisce. Especially with others who appreciate the same music you do... ..
