Our Beloved Angel, Diane Diane. Where to begin with all the wonderful memories...Diane and Terry's home was always filled with so much love and warmth. My biggest memory of all that I have of them is when Terry and Jen would come home for Christmas. The families were all gathered together, having so much fun. There was always laughter, and joking and story telling. All of us kids would be in the bedroom playing video games while the adults were in the living room having their own fun. I can still to this day smell the rich aroma of the hot apple cider and the fresh pine of the Christmas tree. Those were truly some of the best times that i have ever had, and I will forever cherish them. Everytime I saw Diane it was a joy. She brought so much happiness wherever she went. She has touched everybody's life in one way or another. I always looked up to Diane with so much admiration. She was everything that I ever wanted to be. She was sweet, kind, loving, always willing to help someone in need, and she accomplished so much in her life. She also was an incredible mother and a wonderful wife. When I visited Diane five days before she passed, it scared me. I walked into that room at the hospice and immediately started to cry. She wasn't the Diane that I had remembered her to be. I bent down to give her a hug and a kiss and she asked me what was wrong. Aunty Karen said "its okay". I didn't believe it then, but I know now that it really is going to be okay. I will never forget that brief time that was spent while she laid there. The second time I went into her room I gave her a hug and kiss again and told her that I love her. As I walked out, I turned around and looked one last time at Diane, knowing that I would never see her again. As Terry had said, we need to remember her the way she was in the pictures, not the way she was when she was at the hospice. And that is exactly what I will always do. Though she has lost the long and hard battle with Ovarian cancer, we now can all go on in peace knowing that Diane is no longer suffering and knowing that she is finally home. As our beloved angel Diane sits beside God, she continues to fill her heart with more love for all of her loved ones and continue to look after us as she has always done. Diane will be greatly missed but she will never be forgotten. Everyone has so many memories of Diane that will warm us and keep her alive in our hearts. I will miss you dearly and I will always love you, my angel, Diane.
