I don't view music as simply a hobby or an outlet for feelings. I view music as a vessel to portray anything and everything in someone's life that they view as important. I think this can be a concensus to most people. My music is for you, for anyone who cares to listen and understand that I love them. I try my best to love all people equally and show them that love. In this case, through music. Love is much more than a simple feeling to me. Love is an all inclusive concept that all life should experience. This music doesn't neccessarily directly represent love in itself in its most raw form, but also the receiving, giving, hardships, and breakdowns of love. Love is not always easy, especially to give. But I want to let you know that I want to try my best to give it to all who choose to listen and accept my love through the means of musical notation and organization. The meaning of Impure Jazz: Impure Jazz is not a sub-genre of music. It is also not a stylish name to represent a subculture of people or lifestyle. It's broken down quite simply. Jazz is an alternate meaning for anything in life that is irrelevant or unneeded. Even the genre of music, "jazz", is derived from a meaning of discombobulation, unformation, and unstructure. So as we can see, "jazz" in itself is "impure". Anything pure in nature is unharmed by the all-too-often irrelevance of common acts of life and society. "Impure Jazz" is anything that does not have meaning. Everything that one would pursue, I believe, should have meaning. What that meaning is, is another story. In this case, as described above, is to accurately portray the love and life of love of God and humans. Some might not understand why anyone would choose to call themselves "Impure Jazz" because of its obvious negative connotation, but there is another motive involved. The choice of this name is not to label the music as unmeaningful, but to inform others of the concept of "impure jazz" and further than that the motive behind eliminating it from our lives. I am not forcing anyone to do, choose, or think anything, but simply informing all of the pursuit and meaning of love, along with the "impure jazz" that might get in the way. Love yourself, love your life, and love others.
