Oorlogsgoden biography in English:
Part 1 – The Begin
The band history had your begin in the end of 2001 when the friends Denis Mallia (vocal) and Marcelo Oliveira (bass) decided to form a Death Metal band entitled Hatred, the same that stood up until July 2005, however in this period didn't avenge for lack of time to rehearsals, the formation and musical divergencies constant changes of your integrants.
Part 2 – The Revenge
In July 2005 the band history starts to take new directions, it enters in the band the guitarist Alex Veit, the “Gringoâ€, after any rehearsals and many conversations he finally was a permanent member of Hatred and just lacked a drummer to complete line up.
After very work and effort, the new compositions, so much in lyrical part like instrumental, gave a new face the band and a new expectation.
With three new musics, with this new proposal, stay finally ready, it arose to the matter in the integrants head, change band name and logotype, marking thus a new was. Any names arose in the list, but it was the name Oorlogsgoden, that means War Gods in Dutch, that stayed!! The War Gods fact, because one of the themes boarded with more frequency in the lyrical part are about wars and in Dutch because Denis and Marcelo are strongly influenced by Death Metal practiced in that country, for example Centurian's and Sinister, besides sounding extremely aggressive and original.
Demo was ready in October 2005, with three musics: Black Side, Holocaust Redemption and Conquering By Hatred, relying on a drum programed for lack of a specialist in the apt branch to play of form so aggressive, fast and technical, remained just create a graphic art and to define demo name. In joint, the band defines how the best and more suggestive name would be Conquering By Hatred.
The graphic artwork was going inspired in demo name and in the musics atmosphere relying on monarch's a kind that governs all your kingdom with iron supreme hatred and steel hands.
Part 3 – The Restart
In December 2005 Alex Veit leaves the band to come back to the USA, your origin country, again Denis and Marcelo would have to come back of the stake zero and to resume the search for new musicians. The band stayed a long period divulging demo and testing new musicians, but to without finding ideal people with the same band proposal and had managed to play so much sounds of demo how much do new compositions in the band style. They passed a lot of guitar players, none fastened, until after uncertainties long period arose a new guitarist Thiago Bornato in August 2007 giving a new breath and animate the band, but new compositions don't exit and the need and to find a new guitarist that had done the soils became evident, for luck in October 2007 the band finds a guitarist to do the solos Edilberg Carvalho and at the same time the drummer Leonardo Silva closing thus the new line up and beginning the composition jobs of a new work.
In February 2008, Thiago leaves the band for fault and time to if to dedicate to Oorlogsgoden. The formation then fastened once and for all, Denis in the vocal, Marcelo in the bass, Carvalho in guitar and Leonardo in the drums. The new demo is foreseen to come out soon defined nameless, however with the defined song names: Sworn to the Blackest Dimension, Apocalyptic Onslaught, Towards the Blazing Hellish Storms, For the Glory of Satan and a re recording of previous demo, the music Conquering By Hatred.
