Greetings from the southlands. Another summer has passed. The mountains are golden and soon the snows will come.It was a wonderful summer. I was in the north at PIne Ridge, MAto Paha, Green Grass, and out to Yellowstone and Crow Agency too. Lots of miles and smiles and good people. I continue to walk. One foot in front of the other, keeping perspective and looking ahead to a happier time. The change is here. The message is clear. The dreams are coming faster now.
My tobacco is tall and strong. Agood bunch of seeds for next year too. Its time for soup and bread and stories and fires. I so love the fall. Blankets to snuggle under, pinon smoke in the air. wow. Life is good.Walk, pray, give thanks, send smoke. Every turn of the wheel is filled with laughter and smiles. Life is so beautiful. Watch the skies and remember. May you be safe in all of your travels and remember to give thanks. My roots are in the northern plains, He Sapa and on Rosebud near White River.I continue to play my music. The songs I hear come from deep inside and celebrate Creator's vision. My spirit soars when I listen to the voices of earth and sky and these are the sounds of my songs. I listen to many artists; favs include Atsiaktonkie,George Leach, Derek Miller,Keith Secola, Native Roots, and Buddy Red Bow. These are the friends who will smile, laugh, and walk with me under the stars. mitakuye. Wopila!
