Gimpin Ain't Easy

I love this country, America! Fuck Yeah! I support our troops to the unmost... But, that doesn't mean I agree with everything that is going on... We should rely more on ourselves and less on the rest of the world for Oil. We should turn inward and look for renewable natural resources. Biodiesel, ethanol, and recycling... I mean who is really making the money over in Iraq and Afghanistan? If they can pay a civilian contractor to do force protection for $200K a year while a Marine, Soldier or Sailor does it for a fraction of the cost, there must be something that lies beneath. It's profit, simple, pure and true. The oil companies are making the money. They are raping us for the cost of fuel and now it is driving prices of everything up and causing the large auto makers to lay off employees and lose profits... Who is suffering? We all are... Who is not, the oil companies, their executives and share holders. It's fuckin bullshit! If it were really all about protecting our country then why haven't we finished this war already? Because there is an alterior motive. Now a great portion of our troops are outside of the USA, our borders are unguarded, and we are in a very precarious position with our military half the size it was during the first Gulf War. I should know... I served then and now and I would love nothing more to kick ass on terrorists if that was the real reason we are over there. I believe in the American Dream. Life, liberty and the persuit of happiness. We should all embrace the 2nd and 5th amendment and remember that just because you don't agree with something like personal gun ownership, owning pit bulls, etc... doesn't mean it should be outlawed... Freedom is what this country is founded on. Freedom from all. Just remember that all dictators did away with personal gun ownership before taking control, go ask Hitler...I guess you could say I am a conservative tree hugger. I am a conservative that believes we should take care of the environment, EVERYONE's freedom within the USA, and our economy. We need to get tough! The enemy sure isn't half as soft as we are and we shouldn't let the government take control of our lives. The government should do what we want it to do and not what they want to do...
