I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4In this day and age, there are various styles of entertainment in the music industry. Great music is created by good people with good ideas; built as solid as the gospel and as funky as the old school.A new school of artistry is on the horizon, the kind that not only creates excitement but provokes thought. Here’s an eclectic new artist whose depth of emotion and natural sense of “groove†will pull you into her sound and captivate your soul. Unlike many 18 year-olds, this girl actually has something on her mind. Her greatest desire is to be true to her art and hold on to the soul of her music while pursuing her career. She’s tall, (6’2â€) exotic, soft-spoken, thoughtful, spiritual and ‘Down’. She’s a natural. Her name is Sari.Born in central Los Angeles into a large musical family, to a mother who was touring 9 months into her pregnancy, Sari has a deep-seated love for music. She’s been writing her own songs since she was six years old and has always known she would be a singer. Although she’s never really ruefully pursued music, Sari has been in training for years – from singing in church programs and high school talent shows to scoring big on the basketball court, she was always in the mix.Sari is what you call a paradox. Her voice is sweet but strong. Her expression is raw but pure soul. Her sound is youthful but all-knowing and her message is loud and clear – she knows what she wants and where she’s going. You can hear the influence of Faith Evans, Aaliyah, Whitney Houston and Monica (her favorite) in her approach – but Sari’s an artist in her own right. She’s beyond Bahdu and but will break much ground on Brandy’s territory.
