Paul Verlaine..."la parola è musica"...
L’alba dei Verlene nell’estate del 2002 è storiadell’amicizia tra Angelo, Armando ed Angelino e della passione per la poesia graziosa quanto sofferentedell’avant-garde francese.. La voce di Ciriaco Aufiero è l’anello mancante della primaformazione a 4, avida di british cover ma soprattutto fautrice delle prime tracksconfluite nella demo realizzata nel marzo 2005 per Mic.Rec.
Nell’inverno dello stesso anno iVerlene e Ciriaco si incamminano su percorsi artistici diversi. La line-up viene rinnovatacon l’ingresso di Ivan alla chitarra e Antonio alla voce e alle tastiere.
E’ dell’ottobre 2006 la seconda demo, Karma, sintesi di una significativa virata musicaledella band sempre più profusa nella fusione del cantautorale italiano con il backgroundbritish degli esordi..comincia il Karma Tour che li vedrà assiduamente impegnati dal vivoper tutto il 2006.
Dopo un travagliato 2007 i Verlene sono attualmente al lavoro per larealizzazione del primo cd autoprodotto..

The birth of Verlene was on the summer 2002; It is a story of a friendship between Angelo, Armando and Angelino and of a great passion towards the peculiar and enduring poetry of the avant-gard French... The voice of Ciriaco Aufiero was the lack of the first band, that was going to remake british covers but, above all, it tried to create various tracks that we canfind in the first demo made by Mic.Rec. on March 2005.
In the winter of the same year the Verlene and Ciriaco walk on different artistic paths. Theline-up is renewed with the entry of Ivan, guitarist, and Antonio, vocalist and keyboardsplayer.
The second demo, Karma (2006) is a summary of a meaningful and changed course of the bandtrying to be near to the Italian songwriters with british backgrounds... starts the KarmaTour that will give them the opportunity to play live during the whole 2006.
After a difficult 2007 The verlene are working for the realization of the first cd(autoproduced).
