J'Smoove

I am a 23 year old rapper from a little city called Milan in TN. I have been a big fan of music ever since I was about nine years old. I have always been around rap music because my oldest sister was an underground artist in Indiana and the second oldest in Georgia. Around the age of 15 is when I finally decided to try to get myself ready to get the music flowing out my mouth and into the mic. I first started to get inclined with the music is when I got with a group called the “Untouchable Ones” and we made some songs but they didn't make it further than my radio, so about 2000 I got with a family member who has been working on music as far as I can remember and that’s when I made my first song out of a real studio and the song was made off of Jay-Z’s renegade and me, my cousin, The Golden, and Dough Boi ripped that song and had the whole hood jumping. Two years after that we left Much Love Ent., because things weren't going too hot for us and him, we just did not click like we assumed. In 2003 I was known as a “Freestyle King” because people in my hood they were shocked to see me spit hot tracks off the top of my head and they always thought I was spitting stuff I wrote. A couple of months after that me and my ace Maurice Martin, known as NSANE worked on some tracks with this cat we met in high school named H2 and we connected something real good and formed a group called Kenosis. In 2005 we started our own underground label: Street Fame Ent. I finally came out with my first solo project called the SMOOVE album which is my name but also stands for (Suckas Move Ova Only Vets Elevate). My life is nothing more than music and I really want to try to get out there in the big times and show myself and others that I have what it takes to keep hits coming, I came up in the world watching the moves my peers made so thanks to them I know what to do in the world not just to be heard but to be felt.
