MyGen Profile GeneratorI am just a comicbook illustrator who wishes to join with other greek artists, in order to build the Greek Comic Culture and Tradition! A task amazingly difficult, but nothing in this world is impossible!Here are some things about me and my work... I was given birth in Athens in 1982.I, currently, am a student in the department of Social Anthropology of Panteion University and used to draw since I was 3 years old!. I discovered the world of comics when I first found and read a copy of a “Conan The Barbarian” comic book in the age of 8. I was self-taught, up to the year 2004, when I joined in “Ornerakis School of Cartooning". I participated in periodical Greek “KA-Pow” fan-zine, creating small comic stories. I constantly took part in the annual comic art exhibition “En Aithria” and in the annual art exhibition of the students’ work in “Ornerakis School of Cartooning”. From March 2005 till now, I’ve been working with “Soul Twinkles” publications on creating, writing and illustrating the first Greek, bimonthly “sword and sorcery” comic-book series, called “The Chronicles of the Dragonphoenix”. This series is my first “professional” attempt in the “world of comics”. The series won the "Best Greek Ongoing Series" award in Athens'Comicdom Convention of 2007.I won the "Best Greek Comic Artist" for two years in a raw in the same event of 2006 and 2007...:D I also created, one of the two variant, covers for the Greek edition of “Spawn Godslayer” and participated in “24 Hour Comic Day” album for “Comicworld” publications in 2006. In 2005, along with Aris Kaplanidis, we made the Greek Amateur Cinematographic Team of Nostalgeek Productions, and together created the myth of Tycoon Sekeris , filming the b-movie “The Almighty Tycoon of the Ninja”, which was completed in 2007. My ambitions concern working for comic books of all types, not only in Greece. My life dream is one day to work for Dark Horse’s Conan comic book series. I am very fond of Greek Mythology, RPG games, reading lots of comics, swords and fantasy/action movies… even if some people have objection on this! :P
