I'd like to get a group together to annually recreate the Symbionese Liberation Army bank heist of April '74. I realize that beside Don Defreeze and Patty Hearst there aren't a lot of impressive roles to cover (just you know, scared staff), but we are willing to allow other "fantasy characters" in again this year, as long as it's not something completely inappropriate. Two years ago this girl came as Sharon Tate. That's kinda funny, in retrospect, but SHARON TATE had been dead for quite some time, unless it was supposed to be the "Ghost of Sharon Tate". And that's just wrong. What the French Hell would a ghost be useful for during a heist?
I got to thinking this over, and (besides the reader), there are many fascinating people I'd love to meet someday. Among them of course, Ralph Nader, Traylor Howard (she's repulsive to a lot of people, but I don't mind--repulsion is half the work), Bobcat Goldthwait, a few people I'd like to meet in a dark alley and cut their faces, and most of all, Boo Berry. Not Chuck Berry, Boo Berry.....................................Nevermind the fact that Boo is a cartoon character, what the hell is he? I realize he's a ghost, but a ghost of what? I take it he's supposed to be the spirit of skinny black man, but what era? I need to know this so that I can make sure to visit him in the venue prior to his death, so long as I'm not faced with the trouble of trying to communicate with the spirit of a freed slave? Riverboat gambler? Snake Oil salesman? I've many questions for Boo, provided I can meet up with him before he passes and becomes a cereal spokesman................................................... ....................... WAIT A MINUTE....waifish form...full pouting lips....floats....I have reason to believe that Boo Berry is in fact, the spirit of Sharon Tate. It makes perfect sense, too...just do the math. Holy shit, what if the other cereal monsters are behind some of the great 20th century mysteries?!................................................. ..........Think about it: Frankenberry was Deep Throat, no DOUBT in my mind. What about Count was pretty suave looking, probably dated some movie stars...maybe...NATALIE WOOD. C'mon, you get the Count and Christopher Walken together and you're lucky that more people didn't die! And what happened to Fruit Brute? HE DISAPPEARED. Obviously. OBVIOUSLY D.B. COOPER!!! Now we're all catching on.

"the young liar" by Jones Sawyer Soren. "Parting Shots" by Phillip Houston. "What You Don't Know Could Fill this BOOK" by Mackenzie Green. i also enjoy periodicals and rags--you know those old music review mags from 70s and 80s that people collect and read like comic books these days?
I realize the "I'd like to meet" section wasn't intended for famous people, but I had work the Sharon Tate Cereals angle as soon as possible....these are people to be celebrated through the ages....Steven Wright (director/comic), Carl from Dayton...the mysterious tank fightin' man in Tiannamen Square circa '89.
