About Me

In my next life, I'd like to be an endurance athlete...a professional cyclist, an Ironman triathlete or perhaps an ultramarathon runner. In this life however, I am a fairly content couch potato, voracious reader, wannabe outdoor enthusiast, champagne lover, extremely liberal, introspective, hippie at heart who is married to an amazing man, lives in Vegas and works as an accountant. I am hoping to rectify that last part about being an accountant within the next year or two. Right now, I think I'd be happiest working part time at Whole Foods, moonlighting as a doula, teaching prenatal yoga on the weekends, helping out a florist for big events and volunteering in politics. Go figure. Born and raised in NH, went to college in Boston, moved to Vegas in 2003 with my husband, though we didn't get married until 2005. Here. Our reception was in Paris. The hotel. (Almost got you, didn't I?). We met on Match.com in 2001 when we both lived in Boston which I have to say was an amazing experience. I still get chills thinking about it in fact. We have 4 cats, none of whom go by their given names. I miss being able to see the stars and the smell of fall. I can't wait to see the day when smoking is outlawed in public places everywhere. I am very superstitious, afraid of ghosts and believe there is definitely intelligent life out there somewhere. I have learned not to talk politics with Republicans. Global warming terrifies me. I believe ignorance is probably bliss. I have a list of 100 things to do before I die. I wish I was creative. I think everyone can benefit from therapy. I love a good cup of tea. I hope to one day have a big enough lawn so that I can build a labyrinth. Plus it would be nice to have a big lawn to mow because I love mowing lawns. Seriously, I do. The end. This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!
