In my late teens and through my 20's, I wrote background music for television shows. Some of my work is still used on MTV. And I've assisted in the careers of other artists - either in PR, management, or creative - for which I've received several gold and platinum records. Along the way, I've explored other interests, too: creative marketing, communication, acting. Today, I sort of put it all together, working both in marketing and entertainment...and enjoying every minute of it!
I decided at age 21 to live in truth, and I've been blessed all the more because of it. I am a Christian...who happens to be gay. Forget everything you've been told. God LOVES gay people. I am living proof, and I dedicate my life to sharing the Good News of God's all-inclusive love to anyone who will listen. If that makes me a Jesus Freak then yes, I am that, too. Every circumstance in my life, no matter how negative at the time, has always led to even greater victory. This is the result of faith in Christ. If you ever wanna talk more about this topic, hit me up.
Lately, I DJ on the weekends at Pigall's Twist Lounge (127 W Fourth St). It's mostly a straight crowd, but it's waaay “family†friendly. Usually, I'm there on Saturdays from 10 PM to 2 AM, but call in advance to confirm -- sometimes I'm there on Fridays instead.
Every second Saturday of the month from 3 to 5 PM (and some Saturdays in between), I host Alternating Currents on WAIF 88.3-FM is Cincinnati's oldest LGBTQ public affairs radio broadcast, now in its 34th year. Thank you to producer Cheryl Eagleson for trusting me with the hearts and minds of the listeners. I hope that you find the content entertaining, and that it continues to give you courage and inspiration for every stage of your coming out process.
I'll be DJ-ing at Cincinnati's Gay Pride festival again this June. If you're an Alternating Currents listener, stop by the DJ booth and say hi.
