I was 11 years old when electronic music first caught my attention,it was something different, not strange but indeed different, i started buying mixed tapes because it was the only format available for me at that time. not stopping what i was listening to i started to develop a different taste for music from 90 to 96 was like that until i got to the city of los angeles, there was something different there was a sub genre called deep house that caught my attention, music so full of deep bass, and samples that i heard before made it sound that i was listening that genre a long time a go, that's right it was re-works or remixes of classics songs with new beats that gave them the hip, todays deep house it doesn't sound the same , of course it's all part of the evolution.The years of 97 & 98 was when while deep house,techno, and a bunch of genres were pumping dance floors and raves then hard house came in to my life, the first kind of hard house vinyl that i was first able to lay hands on, was an los angeles production, it was a richard humpty vission and pete lorimer label called aqua boogie feat george centeno. then there's alot of names that i could mention , but you will think who the heck were they , unknown names for you but very known for others. At that time there was chicago and los angeles who for me where the most important states that produced authentic americas hard house, wich for me it was the best experience i had with music,unfortunely those labels don't exist anymore.Then u.k hard house came to me along trance, then a few more genres kept coming. Hard Trance and Hardstyle are genres that keeps me bumping at the time. most of the hard trance comes from germany , australia, even japan, now hardstyle its another story, netherlands,germany,italy and also the u.s. are producing the best hardstyle nowadays. I listen all this along with some funky house,why not some Drum n Bass,Electro house. about personal stuff i learned how to mix at the age of 20, i still learning, it's a non stop thing . i own a pair of technics 1210 m5g , a djm 600 & Currently Running Serato Live Scratch, Mac Pro Quad Core 2.66 Ghz Running Reason 4.0now i'm trying to spend some time learning how to make music, producing my own tracks,i'm on the testing phase, testing software,hardware and see how much i'm going to have with this.Thanks for taking time and reading my profile.Masthead Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com!
