Fast, fast, spin, spin, ahhh!!!

About Me

Committed to reclaiming traditional and now denigrated feminine pastimes with the aim of promoting sisterhood and exalting the spectrum of women's culture and activities that blossom despite societal androcentrism while avoiding subscription to an essentialist view of gender. Exception: making casseroles heavily reliant on the use of cream of mushroom soup. Also, every time I take the Myers-Briggs Personality Test, I get different results. I think this is illuminating enough in itself. MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

Having adventures.

I'd like to meet:

Loose cannons, Christopher Walken. No one owns Christopher Walken, Heather Markey!

Music:

Is very necessary. Mix cds from Jake are highly recommended.

Movies:

So I've been to the cinema in Delhi a few times now, once to see Babel which was not worth my time. I know, human life is misery, we can never truly communicate with one another, and Japanese school girls are outrageous. One thing I did learn: Cate Blanchett looks classy even with a bullet lodged in her clavicle and whilst peeing in a pot.

Television:

Not so much these days.

Books:

Japanese novelists who have won Nobel prizes and/or committed suicide.

Heroes:

Penguins.

I keep to myself mostly

So I toyed (aloud) with the idea of keeping an India blog, but it hasn't really come to fruition. To those of you reading my first post, don't expect this to be the buds of what will surely flower int...
