I grew up in CT but at 19 moved to NYC in 1986 for 3yrs to get out of my boring little town. I loved it and had so many great times but I just couldn't afford to live there. That was when the Ritz was in the Village. I would win free tkts all the time on WLIR and after the bands were over they would have a screen come down and the 1st video that always played was the CULT, She Sells Sanctuary. Man that was blast. I would party till 3 or 4 then walk home for Blocks. I'll never forget meeting Joey Ramone at the Ritz. He was so friendly and TALL! I got his autograph and now I know I still have it but where? I am going to have to go on a search for that. I loved them in concert, it was a nonstop jumping and dancing fest. I loved going to CBGB's too, the little whole in the wall was a classic except you didn't want to use the bathrooms! Those were some fun times. I am back in CT but wish i was in NYC. I still love visiting though, that is one of my favorite places in the world!

I love my Cherokee Heritage, My Grandmother was 1/2 Cherokee, what a beautiful woman she was. I was just accepted on the Cherokee National Registry this year.
