I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Most of my time I devote for different forms of artistic expression, be it painting, drawing, music, writing... both creating, and experiencing other people's art. My main inspiration in all that is the quest for finding the Truth, so the thousands of fractions of it allow millions of possibilities in billions of different forms. Thus the source is endless, and all the forms of artistic expression are entwined.

I am very open-minded and interested in all kinds of things in- and outside of this world. Musically i'm especially into darkness and melancholy, therefore i mostly listen to metal. I love autumn for its amazing colors and ambience, and winter for its endless darkness and especially for the snow which turns the world into a land of fairytales and dreams...and springtime for its feel of hope it brings after the long dark times.

Travelling in other countries is very inspiring to me, since it lets me gain experience of different realities. Through travel i get to know myself better as well as to find various aspects to humanity and the whole world.. needless to say how much all that may contribute to the artistic vision. In 2006 i travelled around the world. The voyage took me to several countries and continents, all the way to the Easter Island and back.

I have lived in France for one year and in Holland for five, but in the summer of 2006 I finally moved back to Finland. I chose Helsinki for all the possibilities there, especially in art and music.

"The most beautiful and most profound emotion we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead." -Albert Einstein

"An artist, as I love artists, is modest in his needs: he really wants only two things, his bread and his art." -Friedrich Nietzsche

"Beautiful is always bizarre." -Charles Baudelaire

"Without music life would be a mistake." -Friedrich Nietzsche

"My doctrine is: Live so that thou mayest desire to live again - that is thy duty - for in any case thou wilt again!" -Friedrich Nietzsche

"We turn not older with years but newer every day." -Emily Dickinson

"That's the thing with magic. You've got to know it's still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you." -Charles de Lint

"Surround yourself with people who respect you and treat you well." -Claudia Black

"In art only thing matters: that which cannot be explained." -Georges Braque

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Mahatma Gandhi, C.G.Jung, Frida Kahlo, Sokrates.. What a pity though; the great ones all are dead.. Also other interesting, creative individuals to share thoughts and experience

"This is thy hour O soul, thy free flight into the wordless, Away from books, away from art, the day erased, the lesson done, The fully forth emerging, silent, gazing, pondering the themes thou lovest best, Night, sleep, death and the stars." -Walt Whitman

"The best of beauty is a finer charm than skill in surfaces, in outlines, or rules of art can ever teach, namely, a radiation from the work of art of human character, -a wonderful expression through stone or canvas or musical sound of the deepest and simplest attributes of our nature, and therefore most intelligible at last to those souls which have these attributes..." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Keep tight hold on the present. Every condition, every moment even, is of infinite worth because it is the representative of all eternity." -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

"Only a person who participates in spiritual life has an impulse for a creative activity transcending the merely natural. Otherwise, where would the impulse come from? In all ages the human souls in which the artistic element flourished have had a definite relation to the spiritual world. It was out of a spirit-attuned state that the artistic urge proceeded. And this relation to the spiritual world will be, forever, the prerequisite for genuine creativity."-Rudolf Steiner

"Art, although produced by man’s hands, is something not created by hands alone, but something which wells up from a deeper source out of our soul. My sympathies in the literary as well as in the artistic field are drawn most strongly to those artists in whom I see most the working of the soul." -Vincent van Gogh

"To change life" -Arthur Rimbaud
