My hobbies include Gardening, counted crosstitch, crocheting, exercise (many types), walking-Currently, I am working toward my diploma in Psychology. I also have a diploma as a Teachers Aide from Stratford Career Institute. I formerly worked as a monitor with cafeteria, bus loading and after school, duties; at Tyl Middle School Oakdale, CT 9/97-5/99...I have also been a volunteer in the school I formerly worked in-as a nurses' asst., also for 6th thru 8th grade Resiliency Days-
I was also an Emergency Medical Technician for 10 yrs; (working at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London CT, for approx. 8 yrs. as a Volunteer Paramedic Driver/Assistant.)I have been a volunteer timekeeper/scorekeeper (with my Judo training partner) for NLC Judo at Inclub Tournaments and Competition Matches at the Nutmeg State Games.I've volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Leader when my children were in scouts.I've taught Sunday School, Bible School (music), as was a teacher assistant, my senior year in HS, as a part of my Advanced Psychology class.
I was a volunteer counselor (first week as a Jr Counselor) during many summers prior to and following HS graduation, at a camp for Special Needs Children and Adults.
