The All Grass Blue Stars
Email Address:
The All Grass Blue Stars is a non-traditional "bluegrass" quartet that was founded in 2006 and is still going moderately strong in 2008. The current lineup consists of self-proclaimed luthier and guitarist Dan Neafsey on guitar and vocals, the lovely Colleen Filush on fiddle and some reluctant vocals, the other stupid guy Jon Ringel on the tenor ukulele (bluegrass purists stop reading here) and vocals. We also feature a rotation of great bass players, like upright bassist Fred Mckay and hip-hop producer Kenny Cash on the bass guitar! Our basic mission is just to go around playing our music in various bars and clubs that want us. Since we haven’t found any of those yet, we have been conniving and forcing our way into venues that have no interest in us, and often can’t stand us. Seeing us live is highly recommended, and would be a very good idea for you to try sometime! If you want to follow our exploits more carefully, just look at the list of upcoming shows above this bio, join the mailing list (also right above this bio), or email [email protected]
