Eric "EO" Oliver a native from St. Louis, Missouri, is known as one the most talented and humble trombonist of his time. With deep roots in gospel music this has made his sound so robust, and unique/distinguished. A believer of paying respect to the many influences which has helped create his sound, "EO" is defientely from the "school of soul" and he believes that "Imitation is Suicide".Some highlights of "EO's" career thus far have been... Performing and recording with The Ray Mingus Experience, Entercom Broadcasting Station AM 1400's Theme Song, recorded with Ladonna Mole wife of Guitarist Tim Mole whom is the musical director for "Gospel Legend" The Reverend John P. Kee. Also he has recorded on a international level with "Contemporary Jazz Pioneers" -Spyro Gyra on the 2006 disc "Wrapped in A Dream", in the live performance arena he has opened with different ensembles for "A-List Artists" such as India Arie, 3time Grammy Nominated Saxophonist -Gerald Albright, & R&B Legends- Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes- just to name a couple...A team player, Eric was the lead trombone for the "International House of Prayer Organization" in Buffalo, NY.
