Lucky
For Joelle it's always been about the music. Her father and grandfather were both successful musicians. She moved to Las Vegas as a young girl and it was in Vegas that Joelle grew up soaking in the music scene. Her family was "real" Vegas. Her mom worked as dealer and her dad worked as a part of Elvis' security staff.
At fifteen Joelle started making music her full time job. She worked as a professional dancer in the world famous "Les Follies Berg ere" at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. She used this night job as her "bread and butter" as she studied singing, classical ballet, and guitar. Music and dance have taken Joelle around the world. She's performed in Africa, Japan, and the Caribbean but is happiest when she's working at home in Vegas.
Wife, mother, and devout Christian leader, Joelle is involved in Canyon Ridge Christian Church. One of Joelle's great passions is writing original worship songs for the Women's Ministry through the church. Recently she wrote a song for world famous bible study writer Susanne Scheppmann. Currently, in addition to a five-night-a-week performance schedule with "The Lance Burton" show as the magician's assistant, Joelle has made a name for herself as an independent local Las Vegas Artist. In past years Joelle has participated in EAT'M (Emerging Artist and Talent in Music) and through this her music has gotten air time on Las Vegas' prominent local rock radio stations.
Joelle has opened up for several national acts such as Fuel, Warrant, Firehouse, and Frankie Perez. She has played for the Bite of Las Vegas for local radio station 94.1's yearly food and music festival where some 10,000 folks attended. Most recently, she sang background vocals on the platinum recording artist Greg Medoro's record titled
"14 Sunset Way".
And she's not standing still. Joelle recently worked on her latest music video for her song "Lucky" which can be viewed on the main page here on her myspace.
