Today we lived a thousnd years - all we have is now...

About Me

I've been a country boy pretty much all my life - from Cavendish for 19 years, and Geelong for the last four or so. However, I am weaning myself into the city, and plan to be in Melbourne town in 2008.

I'm a mild-mannered public servant by day, and a not so mild-mannered, mocassin-wearing, football-playing, white-shoe wearing, sauce-testing contradiction of a man outside of the 9 to 5 grind.

A fair few different people have said I defy their perception of a...(footballer, economist, Geelong resident etc), and I quite like it. What's your perception of me?

My Interests

Footy, cricket, skiing, gym, sport in general, painting, writing

I'd like to meet:

James Spader/Alan Shore, Bill Shatner/Denny Crane, the guy in the Humphrey B Bear suit/Eddie McGuire(??), Mr Heinz, the Deer from the Room 99 radio ads (to punch him in the face), the creator of the Mach 3 Turbo razor (to pay the shit out of him for being such an idiot), Claire Reiners' old man (coz he's apparrently a lot like me - or I'm like him. I'm hoping it'll be like one of those life insurance ads - you know: I'm you in twenty years from now...")View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

well, except for the timeless stylings of Casey Donovan...I'm loving the theme to the new Bond flick by Chris Cornell, I really enjoy Sneaky Sound System, and am developing a growing affection for Bon Jovi. I'm typically a rock baby though, and love Triple M.

Movies:

sauce on a plane, saucebusters, saucebusters 2, American Pie with Sauce and Freddy got sauced

Television:

Boston Legal, Nip/Tuck, Today Tonight (but only with Naomi Robson), hot source

Books:

Don't read novels too much these days, but I really like The Riders (by Tim Winton)

Heroes:

James Spader's character, Alan Shore in Boston Legal is someone I'd live to become more like one day. Gary Ablett (Snr) was my football idol. Nat, Michael and Chris are my "everyday heroes"
