Joachim Wipprecht aka DJ der Lauscher was born 1970 in a little town called Düsseldorf, Germany. He was always interested in the madness of music and so he decided to study the piano to the delight of many but was bombarded by all kinds of classical music by his family for many years from which he had to escape (the music not his family).
As he grew up most of his friends at the time decided to start smoking grass, Joachim decided to get high in another way by going to flying school and when finishing this practice started to fly his own plane in the form of an Airbus A320. Before moving to Austria he saved his older brothers LP collection which were standing next to a very large dustbin on the pavements of Düsseldorf. To bring himself down to earth and back up again without the aid of an aircraft he decided to enlarge his music sense and knowlege and spend lots of money buying MORE records. Surprisingly his influences came from Vienna, Austria but not in the form of Strauss or Falco but the minimal and techno beats that were coming out of unknown underground locations. One of these locations was the infamous Donau bar where he stood back took a deep breath and said "WOW". Since this sharp intake of breath he tracked down the owner, grabbed his arm and told the manager "I, Joachim Wipprecht is gonna play here like it or not". The manager after hearing the tunes Joachim was knocking out agreed to let him play, this is where Joachims DJing began.
He played at famous viennese techno music locations like the Donau Bar, the Fluc Café, the Camera Club (Club Pompadour), the Sass Music Club, the infamous Flex Club and many other locations. If you go to his website you will find places and times. You can listen to his latest live set on PLAY.FM Radio. His playlist is a fine mix of techno, minimal techno and fine tech trance.
Together with two friends they form the DJ collective ElectroVertigo.

about Pets and Animals
Als Lauscher bezeichnet der Jäger die äußeren Ohren, somit die Ohrmuscheln der wilden Huftiere und des Haarwildes allgemein. Insbesondere beim Schalenwild - ausgenommen beim Schwarzwild (hier: Teller) - spricht man bei aufgestellten Ohren in der Jägersprache von Lauschern, da der Begriff aus dem Althochdeutschen hlosen kommt, was so viel wie aufpassen bedeutet. Die Lauscher sind im Verhältnis zum Schädel der Tiere oft überproportional groß und nach allen Seiten drehbar und ausrichtbar. Auch während des Äsens sind sie ständig im Einsatz, um artfremde Geräusche zu registrieren und eventuell den Fluchttrieb einzuleiten.
