www.layoutpimper.comWindbreed began in the Summer of 1992.Founder Chris Dalcin was working with Wade Collins, and to much to there suprise we had stumbles across a little 13 year old TIM YUENG, still not even in High School he began to blasting his ass into the band.after a few months as a 3 peice Wally Wilson (X Matrikore) joined the band as lead vocalist and bassist, at the sixth month mark Wade Collins was replaced by guitar wizard James Brodesser, but only after only 8 months into the bands birth Wally left to pursue Tattooing.Chris Dalcin then moved to bass and lead vocals, James guitar, and Tim drums, this line-up would remain the same until the demise in late 1996, with a brief return from Wade Collins.The trio would go on to record 4 demos, Live 94' Into The Breed (94), Pipe Dreams (95), Til the Bitter end (95/96) UNRELEASED.with the explosion of Death metal in the early 90's Windbreed was on the edge of a genre that was very unique.the band would go on to open up for Cannibal Corpse, Mal Havoc, Incantation, Katiclysmn, and many more, with doing many live shows in the NY area the band had a very cult local following, throughout the US and Foreign country, the amount of snail mail back then Chris was doing was a ridiculious.with there shows playing with local legends as Lethargy, Within, Disgourged, Withered Earth's (First show ever), Disengage, Moment of Truth, Buried Beneathed, Contortion, And here I Lie, Bughouse etc.Windbreed sadly came to a close in the Summer of 1996, due to personal issues James was unable to continue, thus Chris made the desicon to disband due to James considerable amount of writting that he forged as the Trademarked WINDBREED sound.Tim went on to be come a professional drummer for many well known acts such as, NILE, Vital Remains, Hank Williams the 3rd, as well as audtioning for SLAYER.Chris went on to play drums in ...And Here I Lie, Spooked Horse,Fledgling Death,1000 yard Stare,Thorns of the Carrion and then ending up again fronting Elusive Travel playing guitar and singing.James went on to managing cruise ship music entertainment company's, and a short stint with a band called Drug_Store _SuperFly.all band members are on freindly terms and Chris has hopes of recording a new track with TIM, to finally be able to release the last EP "Till The Bitter End"
