My name is Leon Trueheart II....but everybody calls me "Trueheart". I am a jazz affcianado and reside in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a very proud parent, not one of my children have ever given me any trouble, I am also a grandfather of 17, soon to be 18 grand-children!I am the majority owner of a wholesale record distributing company, (which by the way, will soon become of one the largest in the country). Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to open up a jazz club. Now, realizing this dream I am currently opening a JASS (Jazz) Club in the down-town Baltimore area just minutes from the Inner Habor! It will be called "Da' Jazz Club". I am fashioning it in memory of my beloved cousin Ella Fitzgerald. The fun part is, it will be a combination jazz club, restaurant, record store, music store and library. Upon its completion, I will look to see all of my friends there as well as the new friends that I have aquired now and in the future.In addition, "Da Jazz Club, Inc." will be producing Baltimore's first annual Jazz festival to be known as "The Baltimore JASS Fest!"I've already begun by establishing SAVING THE CLASSICS, a non-profit organization created to preserve jazz as a living art form.I have learned a long time ago that there are no I's or me's when you are attempting to launch creative endeavors on a grand scale.
