About Me

Well hello. My name is Chase. Keep all hands and objects inside please. Im 23. Im a songwriter. Im all about the music. I love getting lost in a song. I'm a "maverick" (oh now doncha know!). I do things my way. I value happiness as success.
Been working on a healthier body. I was a gymnast for 12 years so Im trying to get back to a muscular frame. Im held by gravity at 145lbs or so, reach the sky at about 5'7.
Music genes run high in the family. I have a ton of influences. The list could go on and on. I appreciate artistic integrity over commercial success. I don't support most Top 40 because it's formula concepts that are recycled too much because they "work" to make a quick dollar, how do you put a price on art??. Thats not to say I dont like a "hot" song every now and then.
This is my fav song ever. Look up the Tampa version from 2006. GREAT! I like the songwriter feel it was given for the record as well.
So to say, I feel like I've been through hell and back many times and have overcome a lot of darkness. 2008 was a complete mental turnaround, nearly a 360 overhaul thanks to a few good friends I visited for a few months out of state, and a few back home. I love to make friends but I am over bullcrap. Picked all my weeds but kept the flowers and I'd like to keep it that way. Thanks to my visit away from home, I've been pulled from a nasty darkness I privately lived in for over a decade. And I owe them thanks for saving my life. Life for me is all about a good time and great friends and just being happy. Nothing more, nothing less. Shout outs are annoying anymore... but I feel compelled to do so to Trisha and Dale, Jonathan, Phil, and Ken. Im kept grounded by these people and they always have my back and best interest at heart, support me fully in whatever I do and challenge me to better myself and always strive for greatness in every area. So thanks to the good times in the past and that continue on into a bright future! And my immediate family's pretty fun too.
After I found the "dark side of the moon" on Jan 20th in Ohio. (after being up ALL night in the snow!)
the same night before we went to play in the snow.. it took me 20 minutes to put jeans over PJs... of course slightly not sober :-P

I really don't like when people tell me what I "should" or "need" to do. I know right from wrong. Because something works for someone else doesnt mean it will for me. Haha stubborn?

Idlove to meet Melissa Etheridge. Shes done alot and been through alot in both mnusic and life. I'd love to meet Alanis Morissette as well. She's twisted and odd but her music is so unique.

Oh and I'm gay. If you don't like it, oh well. I've known since I was 7, and came out when I was 13. It's been a true test of character and strength. I've made friends and lost friends, but it taught me to stick up for myself and not take shit from anyone. Although, I've found more recently that I don't want to be gay, I don't want to be straight, I just want to BE. I want to be happy with someone without limitation. In any area of my life, I love experimentation. I like to discover new ideas and feelings that I can later then turn into a song. I'm usually up for most anything - so lets hang out! haha.
